A congratulations card

A friend got a new job, so I made this card for her. I forgot to take pictures of the process but here's what I did:

Things used:

  • An A4 vanilla cardstock
  • Half a white A4 cardstock, divided in 6 papers of 6x6cm each
  • Distress inks in the colors Broken China, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar (this one I used only for the bunny's body)
  • Jet Black ink by Stazon (any black ink would do as long as it dries fast)
  • Bunny stamp by Imagisce
  • "congrats" sentiment by Lawn Fawn, from their set "So much to say"
  • Heart, "let your dreams come true" and dots stamps from this set by 7 DOTS STUDIO
  • Chevron stamp by Prima Marketing
  • Aquamarine rhinestones by Kaisercfraft
  • Scissors, folding bone, double sided tape, foam squares, etc etc

There's not much to say about the process... I dyed two squares with the inks and then used stamps in the others as I felt like. I knew I wanted to do a desing with pink and blue and six squares but I improvised the rest as I was going. In fact I did more squares than the ones shown and kept them for later projects.
As for the bunny, I stamped her on white cardstock using the Stazon black ink, and then colored her with Spun Sugar ink. Then I stamped her again and colored on Picked Raspberry to add the darker touched on the ear and belly, and glued them with double sided tape. Then I did the sentiment.
Finally, I put all together, starting with the squares and then the bunny and the sentiment (which I added using the foam squares to get a 3D effect). Then I added the rhinestones because it looked a bit empty without them.
And that's all! It took me like... one hour and a half while I voice chatted with my boyfriend?

I hope she likes it, I had a lot of fun making it!
